Pain And Experience

Because you spend so much time with your students, you have an opportunity to influence students and help them make decisions that will shape their lives. There will be moments when they will ask you questions that have nothing to do with content. The topics of these questions can range from pop culture to life advice. Staying on top of pop culture is not too difficult. All you have to do is ask your students, but the time you spend giving your students advice about life is very special.

For some students, you could be their go-to person. For others, they need to hear wisdom over and over again. The time you spend giving life advice is not wasted. In the video below, I recorded a message that I would often share with my students about how life teaches us lessons through either pain or experience. What is the most important life advice you feel students should know?
