The most successful people in the world have numerous mistakes in their past. But we most remember the highlights and the accomplished goals because everyone loves a winner. However, it is the mistakes and the failures that fuel the effort to be great. No, these individuals aren’t perfect. They just refused to stop trying.
I often remind my students that I am not asking that they be perfect. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. However, I do require that they try. By ‘try’ I mean give a good effort towards accomplishing the goal or mastering a Learning Target. It is my job to make sure their good effort allows them to find success. Don’t forget this when you are doing something that is difficult. Success is around the corner if you don’t quit trying.
