Have you ever heard the saying, “Heat Rises to the top”? Heat has very little density and as a result, it rises to the top. Closer to the ground, there is a great amount of pressure in the atmosphere that you can’t feel. However, heat reacts to this pressure by rising. This explains why Hot Air Balloons float. Heat rising, is a scientific fact. That means it is always true that heat will rise to the top. There is no question about it.
There is a lot we can learn from heat. There are a lot of responsibilities (pressure) that are placed on everyone as they get older. People react to pressure differently. Some people complain and wonder why things can’t be different. These people spend so much energy either hoping to or trying to change the obstacles that life presents to us all. People who whine and complain only weigh themselves down with their negativity. It’s hard to rise when you are carrying extra weight.
Homework, projects, due dates, and high expectations will surround you and make you feel like it is impossible at times. They combine to create a pressure that is new to you. That is life. However, you can choose to react to this pressure in a positive way. Just be like heat. All you need is a system of planning in order to keep track of these responsibilities and stay organized. Those who are well organized are not held down by the responsibilities of life. True, they deal with the same pressures as everyone else. But they rise to the top just like heat because they were well prepared to handle the pressure. You will find that if you are always well planned and prepared, the weight of the responsibility is less because you have an idea of what needs to be done. Let it be true that you always rise to the top!
