Just last year, I went on my first vacation on a cruise ship. It was amazing! We left Miami and visited multiple destinations in the Caribbean during our 5 day trip. There were a few concerns before the trip. Would we get sick? Would the ship leave us if we were late? Would anyone notice if we fell off the ship? Thankfully, the trip was without incident or accident. As a matter of fact, when we first got on the ship, we didn’t notice until about an hour later that this huge floating city was actually moving! We looked out the window and saw the land grow smaller and smaller. That ship was moving so fast but it was so hard to tell being on the ship.
Life is like this as well. When you get to middle and high school, time may to drag on and you wish that you could just be done with school today. Be patient because it takes time to prepare for success. The good news is that you are moving forward to graduation. Whether you are ready for it or not, the day will come when you have to depend on yourself. So what you do today is extremely important, because the quality of your life in the future is based on the decisions that you make right now. You are moving. You can determine if you are moving forward or back. Think about it.
