I have shared with you my story about graduating from high school with a 3.6 GPA and being dismissed from college as a result of poor grades. It is my hope that you all learn from my experience. This happened because I didn’t pay close attention to my strengths and weaknesses as a student. Even if you are a high-achieving student with a great GPA, there are still areas that you can be working to improve. My weakness in high school was in the area of studying. I never really knew how to study. Many of my classmates refused to comply with the simplest directions and didn’t’ turn in their assignments. And so, compared to them, I was a genius. I believed that, but it was a lie.
So, are you believing a lie about your academic performance? Do your grades really reflect your knowledge of the information? Be very careful. What you don’t know can hurt you.
